2. A sludge metal band from Seattle.
Formed in Seattle in the year 2001. They played many small gigs before releasing their first full-length album in 2005. The band consists of Dan Beloit (vocals/guitar), Jim Laws (drums), and Taku Mineshita (bass). David Welker was the drummer until March 2004. Their music merges fuzzed-out guitars with sing along melodies. They are named after Eastern Washington's Lewis-Clark Valley, where Dan Beloit grew up. Their official website is www.thevalleyrules.com.
