There are three groups under the name Thousands:
1. Thousands is a folk/Americana duo from Seattle, WA consisting of Kristian Garrard and Luke Bergman. Their first album, "The Sound of Everything" was released on November 22, 2009 on various online retailers with a vinyl release is on Echolalic Records.
On January 7, 2011, Bella Union announced that Thousands would be joining their roster and that they will re-release "The Sound of Everything" on March 14, 2011.

2. Thousands is a rotating-cast improv music group based around a core group of six musicians out of los angeles, ca. Thousands features members of Antique Brothers, Fantastic Ego, and (VxPxC). Thousands formed in August of 2006. They have released a self-titled demo cd-r as well as cd-r's on Foxglove and Phantom Limb Recordings and tapes on Not Not Fun and Abandon Ship Records. look for upcoming Digitalis, JK Tapes, and others.
Members: Grant Capes, Ged Gengras, Tim Goodwillie, Justin Mcinteer, Caitlin Mitchell, and Jake White.
Thousands sound is the almighty drone wrapped around improvised post-rock and mutant-sewer-funk, with detours in wide-eyed acoustic ramblings.
