Formed in Portland Oregon in 2007, and has been described as Synth Punk as well as Spaz-Core, while the band itself has referred to it's music "Choose Your Own Adventure Rock." Fist Fite started as two piece comprised of Jonnie Monroe (synthesizers) and Christian Carmine (drums). The group re-named after the similar sounding Arcularius broke up with the departure of Mitch Dries (guitar). Before that, Jonnie and Christian also played in various bands together in Olympia, Washington, the most notable being Le Push.

Before that, Jonnie and Christian also played in various bands together in Olympia, Washington, the most notable being Le Push. Fist Fite played several shows before Justin Wheeler (bass) was added, and the first album "Downtown Canada" was recorded and self released to local acclaim and a few positive international reviews. Since, the band has been touring the U.S. and Europe, and working on their follow up, which is sure to many-a-guts into snakes with their signature heavy riffs and patterns, unpredictable turns, and raw vocal blasts.
