2) Ghoul was a hardcore punk/thrash metal band from Japan. You may change your tags to GHOUL for this specific band. They have several releases on Hold Up and Selfish records and toured with groups such as G.I.S.M., Gastunk, Gauze, Outo, and The Execute. Ghoul's frontman and Japanese punk scenester Masami went on to record a solo EP that was released after his death in the early 90's. He also formed a short-lived hardcore punk band Sqwad with some Ghoul ex-members in circa 1989.
3) Ghoul was an experimental electronic band from Sydney, Australia.
4) Ghoul was an underground Black Metal band from the UK. The band members Unknown and Mefisto together recorded a series of black metal demos and live performances of dark ambient/noise which achieved cult status amongst fans. The band split up in 2007.
