We generated $100 and bought three military intermediate grade bags rated to 10 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit at a discount from Andy & Bax and donated them to the "Red Door" at the Down Town Chapel.. Everyone thought the fund raiser went well so we decided to do it again.. In December we had another fund raiser and generated $200 and bought and donated six of the same sleeping bags.

Okay, maybe not 'spits' but we stuck that in there for Jay Awesome and you other minneapolisotans.. We usually don't post press releases from bars but we love bikes and also being cooler than Minneapolis. —from doug fir: Doing Our Part In Reclaiming "The Most Bike Friendly Community"Portland has been atop of Bicycle Magazine's most bike friendly cities since 1995.. We have always looked down at the competition.. Well, until now.

Portland music fans will be pleased to find out that PDX Pop Now! has announced the track listing for the eighth installment of their much heralded compilation.. The 2-disc set is stacked with 41 tracks from some of Portland OR's finest musicians.. O Bruxo, Blue Skies For Black Hearts, Swahili, Lost Lander, along with DJ papi chulo and DJ GIGANTE, have been tapped to perform and provide music between bands at this year's CD Release Benefit which will be held June 2nd at Holocene (1001 SE Morrison St.). The cover is $10 and that will include a copy of the 2011 PDX Pop Now!. Compilation CD.
