1) The Headliners are an Oi!/street punk band from Nantes, France. This is their debut full-lenght album. They are playing melodic Oi!/street punk somewhere between The Business and The Crack.
2) A short-lived act on the Motown label from 1963-1965 with the members Bobby Lewis, Ray Clayton, Lonnie Londin and Larrie Londin (real name Ralph Gallant). They originally came from Florida and were called The Tornadoes (not to be confused with the surf band with the same name). In 1964 and 1965 they released two singles on the Motown sub-label V.I.P.: Tonight's The Night b/w You're Bad News and We Call It Fun b/w Voodoo Plan. Neither single charted.
Soon after the release of their final single the band members went their separate ways (with Larrie Londin ending up as an in-demand session drummer and as the touring drummer for Elvis Presley).
3) The Headliners formed in February 2006 and are based in Sheffield. These Tropical Indie lads are building up a large following as they proceed to gig throughout the UK; playing the prestigious 'Glastonbury' and 'T4 On The Beach' in 2007, along with support slots with, 'The Twang', 'The Ordinary Boys', 'The Bravery', 'The Maccabees', 'Mark Ronson', 'The Holloways', 'The Pigeon Detectives', 'Little Man Tate', 'The Hoosiers', 'The Wombats' and many more. With all this success in little over a year it's easy to see why these young lads, are tipped to be big. Recently the band has been to the forefront of the press, winning the 2007 Channel4 Unsigned Competion and also being selected as one of the final few bands of the AKG unsigned Heroes 2007, chose from 1000's of band. With continuous mentions in the press, mainstream TV performances and first rate reviews the future is looking bright. Drawing individual influences together, every track caters to any taste with an entirely unique sound to any bands in the general area.
