Years is the solo project/alter ego of Darkest Hour and City of Caterpillar drummer Ryan Parrish. With currently one release in the form of a split EP with ambient artist Ventoux, the project marks Parrish's first venture into atmospheric, meditative ambience and is a complete departure from the work of his day job in Darkest Hour. Years was a UK post-punk band which included future Chameleons guitarists Dave Fielding and Reg Smithies. Christopher John Seddon was the only member not to later play in The Chameleons.
