1. The Caps were a late-1950s group from Akron, Ohio. One of its members was Clyde Allan Parsons. They released a bunch of singles on White Star Records.
2. Chris met Brian at the Humdinger House in Bellingham, where Brian made fun of Chris' hat. Chris later met James Reisen, through Brian and their band at the time, Language Arts. James R. drove a red truck. Jess met Chris at school, through Anthony, who is not a member of this band.

Hall at a 4th of July picnic where they played frisbee and swam in the Colombia River. About a year later they all started playing as The Caps. Members of this band are also in The Daffodils and Mild Stallions. In 2007 They released their "Plastic Rings E.P."

3. The Caps were a punk band from Hawaii that played and recorded together from 1998 to 2002. Some members have relocated to Northern California. The Caps were featured on several compilations released by Hawaiian Express Records. The Caps has also released an EP and an album by the same label.
